Spotlight: Front-runner who won when upped to 1m2f at York (good) in July and followed up in a big field there (1m2f, good to firm) at the Ebor meeting; has also won here and shown promise on soft ground; unexposed at today's trip and has gone up just 3lb for last time; can make another bold bid.

Spotlight: 2-4 in last year's 2yo campaign (including a win on good to soft) and he reappeared with a win at Chester (7.5f, good) in May; down the field on both starts since (1m2f/7.5f, good to firm) but it will be no surprise if this lightly raced 3yo turns things around sooner rather than later.

Spotlight: 0-9 this season and inconsistent but runner-up three times in 2025 and he won this last year (good); effective on good to soft and possibly okay on soft; in the mix if he's on a going day in first-time cheekpieces.

Spotlight: In the first three late last year in his three qualifying runs (1m/1m2f, AW/soft); it's a big ask to win a race this competitive on his first outing of the year but his trainer is very much among the winners and this 3yo's pedigree provides optimism he can be better than his opening mark.

Spotlight: 3yo who won in a first-time visor at Haydock (1m, good) in April but he hasn't kicked on from there; needs to raise his game now tackling 1m2f for the first time; the visor replaces the blinkers adopted last time.

Spotlight: Getting back on slow ground is a positive and she's 5lb lower than when winning at Haydock (1m, soft) last September, but she hasn't been at the top of her game in a light campaign and a shorter trip may be preferable.

Spotlight: Close fourth in this race two years ago and he's well treated on form as recent as this July; however, he's failed to threaten on his last three outings and needs to turn things around.
